Hope you all have been well!
After the last 8 months of doing open mics and performances on Sunday nights we will be concluding our efforts as Sunday Jams. But just as all good things come to an end, there is room for even greater things to begin. I have the pleasure of announcing that we will be moving to Thursday nights and creating a new organization called Æffect.
What is Æffect you ask?
Vision: Positively Æffecting others to live their dreams.
Æffect: def: verb, to inspire trans verb, power to bring about result
Our Values:
V olunteers – driven by the hard work and efforts of volunteers
O pportunity – creating conditions for others to use their giftings
I ntentionality – what we do has meaning, this is about growing each others dreams
C onnection – connecting with one another to help others
E xcellence – you can’t have a positive environment w/o excellence
This is where you come in. We need your help. For more info come check us out this Sunday for our very last Sunday Jams Lyrical Improv performance. Featuring several of Hawaii’s upcoming musicians and mcs coming together on one stage to give you the most intriguing hip hop jam session you’ve ever seen. The show will start in the Dave and Busters Showroom at 8pm, there is a $10 donation at the door.
